Our staff is caring and kind. Staff talk about how they love hearing about the residents and their lives. "I love my job and working with the residents. Finding out about who they are makes me smile and makes my heart full when they are happy!", Mercy Merlos, Wellness staff shared.
A few months ago, The Regency took a small unused hallway and transformed it into a staff recognition area now known as THE HALL OF FAME. This unique space celebrates staff’s birthdays and work anniversaries, Regency events and Glen Cove Community events as well. THE HALL OF FAME also displays 8×8 framed photos of our 2023 Employee of the Months, Employee of the Year and Department Head of the Quarter, too! We announced all of our 2023 recipients at our Staff Holiday Party. (Insert DRUM ROLL) The Employee of the Year for 2023 goes to…….. Bayla Rampaul! Thank you, Bayla for years of service… always with a smile on your face and love in your heart! Congrats to Erica Ferrara, our Safe Harbor Director, who has worked at The Regency for 22 years and is our Safe Harbor Director, as she was voted as our Department Head of the Quarter. Her love for all of our residents shines everyday!
Our staff is what makes our beautiful community special. Employee of the Month or not! Every single person adds their compassion and love to our mix which makes our Residents happy and feel comfortable! Happy New Year to Everyone! May it be a healthy and happy one!
