The Regency Assisted Living Honored at Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation Making Memories: Cocktails & Casino Night

Glen Cove, NY: The Regency was honored November 13th by the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation as “Outstanding Assisted Living”. Beth Evans, Executive Director accepted the award, “We are so proud to be acknowledged the same year we celebrate our 25th year of exceptional care and providing the highest quality of life to our residents at the Regency”.
This award is especially meaningful as The Regency will be opening a new dedicated Memory Care Community in spring of 2019 and looks forward to partnering with LIAF, utilizing their vast expertise and programs to educate staff and families. Current residents will be able to age in place in an environment and home they are accustomed to without having to leave and transition to somewhere new.
The specialized care community will be available to all who are in need in the local population and neighboring areas, providing care with the professionalism and reputation The Regency is known for.
In addition to the Memory Care Community, the residents are already enjoying the new bistro, theater, second-floor sun room, physical therapy room, redesigned outdoor patios, aquariums and additional recreation and activity areas.
